Illinois High School Flag Football - Horizon Science Academy-Southwest loses to Mansueto
September 4, 2025: Chicago, IL 60609 Mansueto Leopards (Chicago, IL) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the host Horizon Science Academy-Southwest Huskies (Chicago, IL), 24-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Mansueto advances its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Dunbar (Chicago, IL) to confront the Mightymen in a match on Saturday, September 6. The Mightymen come into the match with a record of 0-1. Dunbar lost 21-0 in their recent league match against Chicago Military Academy (Chicago, IL)
Coming up next, the Huskies confront the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 8. Horizon Science Academy-Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Blazing Trojan come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 18-12 non-league win over Bremen (Midlothian, IL).
