California High School Flag Football - San Diego thwarted by Mira Mesa
September 4, 2025: San Diego, CA 92101 Mira Mesa Marauders (San Diego, CA) boosters left the game content Thursday as they observed their flag football squad top the host San Diego Cavers (San Diego, CA), 25-6 in a non-league test.
The Marauders now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a test on Tuesday, September 9. Mira Mesa will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 40-0 non-league win over Kearny (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, San Diego drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cavers host Helix (La Mesa, CA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. The Highlanders go into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Helix won 53-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA)
