East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer squad triumph over the host Connersville Spartans (Connersville, IN), 9-0 in a league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mooresville for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. East Central will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Plainfield (Plainfield, IN). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Connersville moves to 2-3 on the year. The Spartans host Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Muncie Burris lost 9-0 in their recent non-league game against Delta (Muncie, IN)
