September 4, 2025: Salem, OR 97302 The Sheldon Irish soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Sprague Olympians to 1 in the Irish league victory on Thursday.
The Irish now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to South Medford for a 6A Southwest bout on Wednesday, September 10. Sheldon will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
The Olympians (0-2) will now prepare for their game against McKay (Salem, OR). The Royal Scots come into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, McKay was nipped by Beaverton (Beaverton, OR), 7-0, in a non-league game.
