September 4, 2025: Abilene, TX 79603 The Cooper Cougars football squad scored 25 points and limited the host Abilene Eagles to 21 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host San Angelo Central for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11.
With the defeat, Abilene drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Permian (Odessa, TX) to meet the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11.
