In Thursday's non-league game, the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) football team were victorious over the host Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), by a score of 14-0.

In their next game, the Screaming Eagle face the Fike Golden Demons (Wilson, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 11. Ashley will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.
