September 4, 2025: Southern Pines, NC 28387 The Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) football were winner over the visiting Davie County War Eagles (Mocksville, NC), 24-13 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Patriots now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South View for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Pinecrest will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 50-12 non-league win over Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Davie County drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The War eagles host Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. The Grizzlies enter the game with a record of 1-1.
