North Carolina High School Football - St. James crushed by Fairmont
September 4, 2025: Fairmont, NC 28340 Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), 44-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Fairmont upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Golden Tornadoes travel to Lakewood (Roseboro, NC) to meet the Leopards in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Leopards come into the test with a record of 1-2. Lakewood lost 20-12 in their recent non-league test against Midway (Dunn, NC)
With the defeat, St. James drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Sharks host Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-2. Wando lost 38-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC)
