Virginia High School Football - Jefferson Forest tops Staunton River
September 4, 2025: Forest, VA 24551 The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles to 6 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18.
The Golden Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Bedford, VA). The Minutemen enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Liberty fell by Glenvar (Salem, VA), 32-6, in a non-league game.
