North Carolina High School Football - Millbrook can't hold off Wake Forest
September 4, 2025: Raleigh, NC 27615 Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Millbrook Wildcats (Raleigh, NC), 21-20 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wake Forest improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host Wakefield (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Wolverines come into the match with a record of 1-1. Wakefield lost 57-2 in their recent non-league match against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC)
Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Millbrook will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 18-6 non-league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC).
