September 4, 2025: New Bern, NC 28562 The New Bern Bears overwhelmed the visiting West Craven Eagles football squad by a count of 43-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bears now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. New Bern will meet a Rams squad coming off a 39-8 non-league loss to Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, West Craven drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Farmville Central (Farmville, NC) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 1-1. Farmville Central lost 49-32 in their recent non-league test against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)
