New York High School Soccer - Amherst Central knocks off Iroquois
September 4, 2025: Amherst, NY 14226 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Amherst Central Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 triumph over the Iroquois Redhawks .
With the triumph, Amherst Central moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to East Aurora (East Aurora, NY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Redhawks now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lackawanna for a non-league test on Monday, September 8. Iroquois will clash with a Steelers team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Pioneer (Yorkshire, NY). The Steelers record now stands at 2-1.
