The Chapel Hill Tigers volleyball squad (Chapel Hill, NC), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC)

With the win, Falls Lake improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Firebirds host Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC) to battle the Griffins in a contest on Tuesday, September 9. The Griffins enter the contest with a record of 4-4. Oxford Prep lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC)

Next, the Tigers battle the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Chapel Hill will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Green Level (Cary, NC).
