September 4, 2025: Cottonwood, CA 96022 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the West Valley Eagles (Cottonwood, CA) and the visiting Gridley Bulldogs (Gridley, CA), saw West Valley's volleyball squad notch a victory over Gridley by a score of 2-0.
With the win, West Valley improves its record to 9-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Pleasant Valley won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA)
Next, the Bulldogs meet the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Gridley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Willows (Willows, CA).
