September 4, 2025: Vienna, VA 22181 The Oakton Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting McLean Highlanders to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Centreville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9.
With the loss, McLean drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to confront the Statesmen in a non-league game on Monday, September 8. The Statesmen go into the game with a record of 2-1. George C. Marshall won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Wakefield School (The Plains, VA)
