September 4, 2025: Pittsburgh, PA 15206 In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Armstrong River Hawks.
The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans go into the WPIAL AAA 1 outing with a 3-2 record.
Next up, the River Hawks confront the Hampton Talbots (Allison Park, PA) in a WPIAL AAA 1 outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Armstrong will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Talbots go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 league win over Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA).
