Indiana High School Soccer - Scottsburg toppled by Charlestown
September 4, 2025: Charlestown, IN 47111 Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Scottsburg Warriors (Scottsburg, IN), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Charlestown moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Silver Creek (Sellersburg, IN) to clash with the Dragons in a Mid-Southern test on Tuesday, September 9. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 6-2. Silver Creek won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Bedford North Lawrence Stars (Bedford, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 6. Scottsburg will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Stars go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 4-1 league loss to New Albany (New Albany, IN).
