Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Farmington Tigers (Farmington, MN), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Shakopee advances its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Sabers travel to Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN) to clash with the Storm in a Class AA Section 2 test on Saturday, September 6. The Storm come into the test with a record of 0-2. Chanhassen lost 5-0 in their recent league test against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN)

The Tigers now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eastview for a Class AA Section 3 outing on Monday, September 8. Farmington will play a Lightning squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Burnsville (Burnsville, MN). The Lightning record now stands at 5-0.
