Missouri High School Soccer - Winnetonka nudges Savannah

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Winnetonka Griffins soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Savannah Savages.

The Griffins (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Ruskin (Kansas City, MO). The Golden Eagles come into the Suburban - Big 6 test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Ruskin was tipped by Truman (Independence, MO), 8-0, in a league test.

The Savages now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Savannah will play a Indians squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Liberty (Liberty, MO). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.
