In Thursday's non-league test, the Plattsmouth Blue Devils (Plattsmouth, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE), by a score of 11-1.

With the triumph, Plattsmouth improves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Buena Vista (Omaha, NE) to clash with the Bison in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Buena Vista won 14-6 in their recent league bout against Bryan (Omaha, NE)

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 5. Omaha North will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Cass (Louisville, NE).
