September 4, 2025: Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) and the host Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY), saw Spencer County's volleyball squad notch a victory over Anderson County by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Spencer County improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bears travel to Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 2-4.
The Bearcats now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Hills for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 10. Anderson County will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-1.
