California High School Volleyball - Westchester over Animo South Los Angeles
September 4, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90045 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Animo South Los Angeles Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), observed Westchester's volleyball team top Animo South Los Angeles by a tally of 3-0.
The Comets (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA). The Yankees go into the Western test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Hamilton was defeated by Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horace Mann UCLA Community for a Crosstown test on Monday, September 8.
