Iowa High School Volleyball - Boone can't get by Prairie City-Monroe
September 4, 2025: Monroe, IA 50170 Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Marshall (State Center, IA). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, West Marshall was nudged by Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA), 2-0, in a league test.
The Toreadors now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ballard for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Boone will face a Bombers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Carlisle (Carlisle, IA). The Bombers record now stands at 4-3.
