In Thursday's non-league match, the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Pride battle the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Mountain Pointe will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ).
