In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Cisne Runnin' Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sandoval Blackhawks.

The Runnin' Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Wayne City (Wayne City, IL). The Indians go into the Midland Trail test with a 4-1 record.

The Blackhawks now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brownstown/St. Elmo for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11.
