South Dakota High School Volleyball - Colome bounced by Platte/Geddes
September 4, 2025: Colome, SD 57528 Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the victory, Platte/Geddes upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Black Panthers host Wagner (Wagner, SD) to meet the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Wagner won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Chamberlain (Chamberlain, SD)
Next, the Cowboys meet the Lyman Raiders (Presho, SD) in a B Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Colome will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Raiders go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 league loss to Gregory (Gregory, SD).
