The Community Braves volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Mount Vernon Tigers to 0 in the Braves non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Braves now have a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to White for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Community will play a Longhorns team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Conrad (Dallas, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 10-7.

With the defeat, Mount Vernon moves to 7-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Rivercrest (Bogata, TX) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Thursday, September 4.
