Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Concord Academy Eagles (Concord, NC) and the visiting Lake Norman Christian Lions (Huntersville, NC), observed Concord Academy's volleyball team top Lake Norman Christian by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Concord Academy improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to HOPE Academy (Concord, NC) to encounter the Royals in a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. The Royals go into the battle with a record of 3-3. HOPE Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC)

The Lions now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to United Faith Christian Academy for a NCISAA Southern Piedmont Athletic battle on Friday, September 5.
