September 4, 2025: Marlborough, MA 01752 Doherty Memorial Highlanders (Worcester, MA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Marlborough Panthers (Marlborough, MA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Highlanders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Burncoat (Worcester, MA). The Patriots come into the Inter High challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Burncoat lost by Notre Dame Academy (Worcester, MA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers play the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams (Dudley, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Marlborough will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
