The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Drexel Bobcats (Drexel, MO) and the visiting Sherwood Marksmen (Creighton, MO), saw Drexel's volleyball squad notch a victory over Sherwood by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Drexel improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bobcats host Hume (Hume, MO) to encounter the Hornets in a Class 1 District 12 battle on Monday, September 8. The Hornets go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Hume won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Miami (Amoret, MO)
