Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX) and the host Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX), observed Fort Bend Travis's volleyball team top Summer Creek by a tally of 2-0.

The Tigers (10-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes enter the 6A Region III District 21 contest with a 17-7 record. In their last test, Fort Bend Hightower was defeated by Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
