With the win, Ishpeming improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Hematites host Manistique (Manistique, MI) to encounter the Emeralds in a Mid-Peninsula battle on Tuesday, September 9. The Emeralds go into the battle with a record of 3-1.
The Mountaineers now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norway for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 9. Iron Mountain will encounter a Knights team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to North Dickinson (Felch, MI). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.
