The National Cathedral volleyball team (Washington, DC), was tipped 3-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart Gators (Bethesda, MD)

The Gators (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC). The Cubs enter the ISL contest with a 2-0 record.

Next, the battle the St. Stephen's & St. Agnes Saints (Alexandria, VA) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 9. National Cathedral will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Saints enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Oakcrest (McLean, VA).
