California High School Volleyball - Palma overwhelmed by Scotts Valley
September 4, 2025: Scotts Valley, CA 95066 Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Scotts Valley improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Falcons host Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA) to face the Cardinals in a Santa Cruz Coast test on Tuesday, September 9. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 1-2. Santa Cruz lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)
The Chieftains now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Soledad for a Pacific Coast - Mission challenge on Friday, September 5. Palma will play a Aztecs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 0-1.
