The Rockmart Yellowjackets softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Cass Colonels to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Rockmart improves its record to 12-2 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Excel Christian Academy (Cartersville, GA) to clash with the in a non-league game on Friday, September 5. The come into the game with a record of 6-9. Excel Christian Academy won 6-5 in their recent league game against Trion (Trion, GA)
