Ohio High School Soccer - Amanda-Clearcreek knocks off West Jefferson
September 5, 2023: Amanda, OH 43102 Amanda-Clearcreek Aces (Amanda, OH) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Aces confront the Fisher Catholic Irish (Lancaster, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Amanda-Clearcreek will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Irish enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 4-2 league loss to Bishop Rosecrans (Zanesville, OH).
The Roughriders now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairbanks for a Ohio Heritage South challenge on Thursday, September 7. West Jefferson will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
