Illinois High School Volleyball - Elgin tips Aurora East
September 5, 2023: Elgin, IL 60120 Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), 2-1 in a league match.
Next up, the Maroons clash with the Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 11. Elgin will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record.
With the loss, Aurora East drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tomcats host Metea Valley (Aurora, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, September 7. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 11-3. Metea Valley won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL)
