Illinois High School Volleyball - St. Bede tips Bureau Valley
September 5, 2023: Manlius, IL 61338 St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bruins clash with the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 7. St. Bede will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Rockets come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL).
With the loss, Bureau Valley drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Putnam County (Granville, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 6.
