Texas High School Volleyball - Yoakum tips El Campo
September 5, 2023: Yoakum, TX 77995 Yoakum Bulldogs (Yoakum, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting El Campo Ricebirds (El Campo, TX), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 match, on Friday, September 8. Yoakum will attempt to better on its 16-8 season record. The Cobras come into the match with a 10-20 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX).
With the loss, El Campo drops to 7-12 on the campaign. The Ricebirds travel to Columbia (West Columbia, TX) to battle the Roughnecks in a non-league match on Friday, September 8. The Roughnecks come into the match with a record of 9-17. Columbia lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Bay City (Bay City, TX)
