September 5, 2023: Ferris, TX 75125 Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 match, on Friday, September 8. Ferris will attempt to advance on its 15-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 7-7 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX).
With the loss, Mabank drops to 4-15 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX) to battle the Bears in a 4A Region II District 16 match on Friday, September 8. The Bears come into the match with a record of 16-10. Brownsboro won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Kemp (Kemp, TX)
