September 5, 2023: Henderson, TX 75652 The Henderson Lions topped the visiting Gary Bobcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 16-10 record. They play next when they host Gilmer for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, September 8. Henderson will face a Buckeyes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 16-14.
With the loss, Gary moves to 14-11 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Chester (Chester, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league contest on Friday, September 8. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a record of 13-9. Chester lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Anahuac (Anahuac, TX)
