September 5, 2023: Salt Lake City, UT 84103 The West Panthers (Salt Lake City, UT) volleyball overcame the visiting Granger Lancers (West Valley City, UT), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
With the win, West upgrades its record to 1-6 on the year. The Panthers host East (Salt Lake City, UT) to face the Leopards in a 5A Region 6 outing on Thursday, September 7. The Leopards go into the outing with a record of 3-3. East lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Skyline (Salt Lake City, UT)
The Lancers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host West Jordan for a 5A Region 4 outing on Thursday, September 7. Granger will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-1.
