Iowa High School Volleyball - Nodaway Valley edged by Mount Ayr
September 5, 2023: Greenfield, IA 50849 The Mount Ayr Raiders held off the host Nodaway Valley Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Raiders now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarke for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. Mount Ayr will confront a Indians team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Albia (Albia, IA). The Indians record now stands at 5-3.
The Wolverines (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Earlham (Earlham, IA). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Earlham was nudged by Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
