September 5, 2023: Eatonton, GA 31024 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA) volleyball squad edged the visiting Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the War Eagles battle the Glenn Hills Spartans (Augusta, GA) in a 2A Area 4 contest, on Thursday, September 7. Putnam County will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Burke County (Waynesboro, GA).
