The Wisdom Generals edged the host Milby Buffs football team by a score of 37-33 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Generals face the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars (Sugar Land, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Wisdom will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 41-16 non-league win over Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX).

The Buffs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Waltrip (Houston, TX). The Rams enter the 5A-1 Region III District 10 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Waltrip held off Cesar E. Chavez (Houston, TX), 55-24, in a non-league challenge.
