September 5, 2024: Tucson, AZ 85706 Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ), 35-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Flowing Wells improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Caballeros host Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to play the Nighthawks in a battle on Thursday, October 3. The Nighthawks go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Blue Devils now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Vista Grande for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Sunnyside will play a Spartans team coming off a 16-14 non-league loss to Pueblo (Tucson, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
