California High School Flag Football - Canyon Crest Academy thwarted by San Dieguito Academy
September 5, 2024: San Diego, CA 92130 San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA), 34-19 in a non-league battle.
With the win, San Dieguito Academy advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Calexico (Calexico, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, September 9. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Calexico won 32-26 in their recent non-league battle against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA)
The Ravens now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Sage Creek for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 10. Canyon Crest Academy will play a Bobcats team coming off a 19-0 non-league win over Oceanside (Oceanside, CA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-6.
