September 5, 2024: Kasson, MN 55944 Kasson-Mantorville Komets (Kasson, MN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN), 4-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, Kasson-Mantorville moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Komets host Stewartville (Stewartville, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a Class A Section 1 test on Friday, September 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Stewartville lost 7-0 in their recent league test against St. Charles (St. Charles, MN)
The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Breck for a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. Lourdes will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
