September 5, 2024: LaGrange, NC 28551 C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons (Pikeville, NC) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host North Lenoir Hawks (LaGrange, NC), 22-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, C.B. Aycock advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Golden Falcons travel to Hunt (Wilson, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Hunt lost 22-21 in their recent non-league battle against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)
The Hawks now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Carteret for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. North Lenoir will play a Mariners team coming off a 85-9 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 1-1.
