Georgia High School Football - Southeast Bulloch thwarted by Effingham County
September 5, 2024: Springfield, GA 31329 Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets (Brooklet, GA), 16-3 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Effingham County improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rebels host Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Richmond Hill won 42-0 in their recent non-league battle against South Effingham (Guyton, GA)
The Yellow Jackets now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Screven County for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Southeast Bulloch will play a Gamecocks team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over South Effingham (Guyton, GA). The Gamecocks record now stands at 1-0.
